
This early example of a "stock" design was developed in 1939 at the urging of Drake Sparkman. I am not exactly sure of how many of these boats were built. We have confirmation of three boats for sure: Rattlesnake built by George Lawley & Son of Neponset, Massachusetts and launched in 1940, Rowdy built by William Stone & Son of Oakland, California launched in 1941, and Bonanza, builder unknown.
